Another application that we use in the treatment of our body's decreasing volume, subcutaneous dissolution and deep wrinkles is filler applications. Fillers are divided into several classes according to their duration of impact and ingredients. If we classify them according to their duration of impact; they are short term, long term and permanent.
Fillers that we call short-term contain hyaluronic acid. They are filler applications made with a protein which is already present in our body. This protein is produced in laboratories and placed in ready-to-use injectors. Their duration of impact ranges from 6 months to 2 years.
Long-term fillers are proteins containing hydroxyapatite or poly-L-lactic acid present in our hard tissues such as teeth and bones. These are produced in a laboratory environment and can be applied already, placed in the injectors. Their duration of impact is around 2-4 years.
Permanent fillers are produced from substances that are not normally found in our body, such as plastic, silicone, methylmethacrylate. Therefore, they are not preferred and not recommended because they can cause reactions in the body and there is no possibility of dissolving, the application is not possibly to be reversed.
Filler applications are widely used and when it comes to non-surgical aesthetics, botox is among the first applications that comes to mind. The biggest advantages of these applications are that they can be performed in an office environment in a short time of 5 minutes without the need for surgery. With this application, patients can go to their jobs in the afternoon by getting refreshed in the afternoon break.
So what can be done with fillers? By making the face look fuller and younger with the fillers, cheekbones can be highlighted, lips can be enlarged, nose tip can be plumped, wrinkles on the face can be wiped, breasts or hips can be enlarged. All undesired hollows in the body can be removed.
